Activities

The swimming pool is open from May to October. The water and swimming area are cleaned daily.

Easy access to the nearby ocean, north of Cecina with its attractive steep coast and to the south endless sandy beaches behind shady pine trees.  The picturesque small villages have kept their natural character.

Many of the famous cities of Tuscany are within a 30 min. to 2 hour drive from the Casaglia.  Pisa, Lucca, the classic Chianti of Florenz  and Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Montescudaio, Casale, Castagnetto Carducci, Populónia, Bólgheri.

The tennis court with a synthetic court is within the Castle grounds and is popular in the cooler morning and evening hours.

Mountain bikes are also available for those who want to explore the nearby country side on bike.

The large and cool recreation room  with a ping pong table, table soccer and billiard is popular with children of all ages.

The beautifully renovated music room also has a TV.  A special highlight for all the guests are several small concerts that are given during the year.
